At PMCS, we understand that trust is paramount in the world of banknote collecting. That’s why we stand behind every banknote we certify with our comprehensive PMCS Guarantee. This guarantee is more than just words on a page; itʼs a testament to our unwavering commitment to authenticity, grading accuracy, and customer satisfaction. We ensure safety and trustworthiness for anyone looking to buy, trade, or sell through our services.
This page provides a detailed overview of the PMCS Guarantee, outlining the protections it provides, the terms and conditions that apply, and the procedures for exercising your rights under the guarantee. This information is for you to understand and build trust.
The PMCS Guarantee is based on several core principles that guide our operations and ensure fairness for our customers:
While the PMCS Guarantee provides significant protection for our customers, it is essential to understand the terms and conditions that apply. These terms are designed to ensure fairness and prevent abuse of the guarantee program.
PMCS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline the acceptance of any
collectibles submitted for Services if they do not adhere to the company's terms,
prevailing standards, and established procedures as outlined on its website. We commit
to giving a clear and reasonable explanation in such cases.
In the event that a currency note is found to be non-genuine, the Customer may initiate
the
"Guarantee Resubmission" procedure to submit the note to PMCS. You must also provide
enough documented information to properly assess.
Should a currency note be determined to be undergraded, the Customer has the option to
utilize
the "Guarantee Resubmission" procedure to submit the note to PMCS. The undergraded may
be
caused by a few different variables, but we will still review it.
The same terms and conditions outlined above are applicable in the case of overgraded notes as well.
PMCS is dedicated to providing fair and equitable resolutions for
customers whose notes
have
been determined to be non-genuine or overgraded. Our team and processes are dedicated to
making fair and equitable solutions to benefit the customer.
Note Removal: If a customer does not accept the solution offered by PMCS, the note will
be
removed from the PMCS Holder and returned to the customer.
The determination of fair market value is solely at the discretion of PMCS. There are several variables to this, such as condition and collectability that only PMCS can determine to ensure this fairness.
If a customer discovers any errors on the PMCS label, such as inaccuracies in the catalogue number, year, letter (Inset), denomination, serial number, Governor's Signature, grade, grade description, or any other pertinent information, it becomes the sole responsibility of the customer to initiate a re-submission for the necessary label correction. PMCS is committed to providing this relabelling service at no additional cost to the customer.
It is important to note that PMCS cannot assume responsibility if the note is not submitted for label correction. If a customer knowingly sells, trades, or transfers ownership of a note with an error-laden label instead of promptly re-submitting it to PMCS, the customer may be held liable to the buyer for fraudulent behavior and could potentially face legal repercussions.
The guarantee with PMCS is not all encompassing and does not cover different circumstances. Here is some that it does not cover:
Autographed Notes:PMCS doesn’t give guarantee on autographed notes, since it doesn’t hold authentication on the same along with the signature of the particular note. Such notes will be graded with description ‘Ink Annotation’ and Graded as regular type note
Error Note:If PMCS grades a note as an ‘Error’, then the same will be highlighted as “Error” obverse and the description for the same will be mentioned on the reverse side of the PMCS label. If the note is not identified as an ‘Error’ then the same will be considered as an Regular issue type.
To ensure smooth claim processing, we ask customers to follow a specific set of protocols for their claims. This is beneficial for both us and you.
At PMCS, we are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction through our comprehensive guarantee. If you believe your certified banknote has been misgraded, misidentified, or does not meet the standards outlined in the PMCS Guarantee, you can submit a claim for review. Follow these step-by-step instructions to initiate and process your claim efficiently.
This structured guide ensures clarity and transparency for customers submitting claims under the PMCS Guarantee. It outlines every step from preparation to resolution, reflecting PMCS's commitment to customer satisfaction and trustworthiness.
The guidelines and information provided on the PMCS website, including those related to the PMCS Guarantee, are for informational purposes only. They should not be considered the final authority on banknote grading or guarantee terms. The final assessment of a banknote and the application of the PMCS Guarantee will be based on information provided by PMCS and will be at its sole discretion.
