The PMCS Guarantee is based on several core principles that guide our operations and ensure fairness for our customers:

  • Guarantee of Genuineness: PMCS guarantees that all notes certified and encapsulated in its holder are genuine. You can be at peace knowing we authenticate this.
  • Guarantee of Grading Accuracy:PMCS guarantees that each certified note is graded in accordance with the PMCS grading standards. There are many different variations of grading, but at PMCS it is made a priority
  • Transparency and Fairness: We are committed to providing transparent and fair resolutions for customers who believe their notes have been misidentified or misgraded. We want you to feel supported and will always try our best to resolve problems

Understanding the Terms and Conditions:
Key Provisions of the PMCS Guarantee

While the PMCS Guarantee provides significant protection for our customers, it is essential to understand the terms and conditions that apply. These terms are designed to ensure fairness and prevent abuse of the guarantee program.

Right to Decline Acceptance:

PMCS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline the acceptance of any collectibles submitted for Services if they do not adhere to the company's terms, prevailing standards, and established procedures as outlined on its website. We commit to giving a clear and reasonable explanation in such cases.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: As the handling, tracking, and examination of even rejected collectibles incur associated costs, fees for Services shall not be refunded in such cases.

Procedures for Non-Genuine Notes:

In the event that a currency note is found to be non-genuine, the Customer may initiate the "Guarantee Resubmission" procedure to submit the note to PMCS. You must also provide enough documented information to properly assess.

  • Removal from Holder:Following a thorough reevaluation by PMCS, if the note is confirmed to be non-genuine, it will be removed from the PMCS holder, and it will not fall under the coverage of PMCS guarantee.

Procedures for Undergraded Notes

Should a currency note be determined to be undergraded, the Customer has the option to utilize the "Guarantee Resubmission" procedure to submit the note to PMCS. The undergraded may be caused by a few different variables, but we will still review it.

  • Higher Grade Assignment:Upon reevaluation by PMCS, if the note attains a higher grade, it will be assigned a new label reflecting the upgraded grade at no additional cost.

Procedures for Overgraded Notes

The same terms and conditions outlined above are applicable in the case of overgraded notes as well.

Resolution Process

PMCS is dedicated to providing fair and equitable resolutions for customers whose notes have been determined to be non-genuine or overgraded. Our team and processes are dedicated to making fair and equitable solutions to benefit the customer.
Note Removal: If a customer does not accept the solution offered by PMCS, the note will be removed from the PMCS Holder and returned to the customer.

Fair Market Value

The determination of fair market value is solely at the discretion of PMCS. There are several variables to this, such as condition and collectability that only PMCS can determine to ensure this fairness.

Description Errors in Label:

If a customer discovers any errors on the PMCS label, such as inaccuracies in the catalogue number, year, letter (Inset), denomination, serial number, Governor's Signature, grade, grade description, or any other pertinent information, it becomes the sole responsibility of the customer to initiate a re-submission for the necessary label correction. PMCS is committed to providing this relabelling service at no additional cost to the customer.

It is important to note that PMCS cannot assume responsibility if the note is not submitted for label correction. If a customer knowingly sells, trades, or transfers ownership of a note with an error-laden label instead of promptly re-submitting it to PMCS, the customer may be held liable to the buyer for fraudulent behavior and could potentially face legal repercussions.

Guarantee Restrictions

The guarantee with PMCS is not all encompassing and does not cover different circumstances. Here is some that it does not cover:

  • damage holders
  • counterfeit holders
  • environmental factors
  • improper placement

Autographed Notes:PMCS doesn’t give guarantee on autographed notes, since it doesn’t hold authentication on the same along with the signature of the particular note. Such notes will be graded with description ‘Ink Annotation’ and Graded as regular type note

Error Note:If PMCS grades a note as an ‘Error’, then the same will be highlighted as “Error” obverse and the description for the same will be mentioned on the reverse side of the PMCS label. If the note is not identified as an ‘Error’ then the same will be considered as an Regular issue type.
